Thirty-five percent rise in resident move-in rate at Lenbrook prompts staff additions

Experiencing a 35 percent rise in its resident move-in rate this past year, the Lenbrook senior living community in Buckhead has added two new staff members dedicated to resident relations. Heather M. Eastman has joined Lenbrook as a residency counselor and Erin N. Moore has joined as a new resident move-in coordinator.

“We take great pride in our staff and our dedication to serving our residents,” said Felecia Sveda, Vice President of Marketing for Lenbrook. “We’re extremely pleased to welcome Heather and Erin to our team and add their specialized skills and experience to our staff.”

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Eastman is an experienced retirement community professional who recently earned her certification in gerontology from Kennesaw State University. At Lenbrook, Eastman is responsible for advising prospective residents on living options at Lenbrook, assisting each new resident with the process of preparing to make a move and then the move into Lenbrook — from start to finish. “It’s a real privilege to work here,” said Eastman. “I’m surrounded by such accomplished and interesting people, all with tremendous depth of character,” she said.

Moore comes to Lenbrook with experience in apartment community relations and a close association with senior care through her mother and sister who both have longtime careers working in retirement communities. In her position at Lenbrook, Moore oversees the residents’ application process and assists each resident in personalizing their apartment residence with the selection of flooring, countertops and cabinets and colors. In addition, Moore ensures that each person transitions into their new home at Lenbrook with a variety of resources that assists with home staging, the sale of the house and the seamless transition to the new home at Lenbrook.  “We all work as a team here at Lenbrook and our work is very satisfying,” she said. Moore is a graduate of North Georgia College & State University.
