Peace of Art Project

To commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day and as a preview to the Nobel Peace Laureates Summit set to take place in Atlanta Nov. 15 to 19, Lenbrook hosted a “Peace of Art” project on Jan. 19. During the art project, which is sponsored by the Paint Pals program of Buckhead-based Friendship Force International and is themed “My Dream of Peace,” children contributed artwork to be presented as gifts at the summit.

Friendship Force is asking for more children to donate their artwork through Sept. 15. Any drawing/painting methods may be used, but the theme must be “My Dream of Peace” and all pieces should not exceed 18 by 24 inches. All works will be presented to the summit’s committee.
