Atlanta Opera Launches Singing Telegram Program
The Atlanta Opera has come up with a joyful way to connect with residents at Lenbrook during this coronavirus pandemic: via singing telegram! Back in the middle of February, the Atlanta Opera held a recital at Lenbrook, hosted by Lenbrookâs Friends of the Arts Committee, chaired by Sue Williams. The idea for these “telegrams” grew out of that event. They’re sent – electronically – to residents of Lenbrook, Grady Hospital and Grady Hospital workers and staff, as well as many subscribers and board members of the Opera.
