Chris Keysor Shares Best Practices at “Peak Summit”

Chris Keysor, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lenbrook, addressed the industry’s 2014 Peak Summit leadership conference in Washington, DC recently, sharing best practices of the collaborative design process for successful senior community renovations.  Sponsored by LeadingAge, the Peak Summit draws over 1,000 executives and senior managers from nonprofit aging services providers from around the country.

Chris currently serves on the Design for Aging executive committee of LeadingAge and has served as judge in the industry’s national design competitions. He played an instrumental role in the design and expansion project for Lenbrook which doubled its physical facilities in late 2008. The renovation also transformed Lenbrook’s living spaces to feature 48,000 sq. ft. of plaza gardens, a 9,000 sq. ft. fitness center, a heated indoor pool and spa, three restaurants and more. Involving a variety of stakeholders upfront in the planning and utilizing financial feasibility tools in the creative process were among two of the approaches Lenbrook used to achieve its award-winning renovation design.
