Lenbrook Names Mark Kill Board Chairman; Shari Lotz Joins as New Board Member


Lenbrook, Atlanta’s first and only nationally accredited senior living community, has named Mark Kill of Cooper Carry to the position of Board Chairman and welcomes Shari Lotz of Equifax as a new Board Member.

  A member of Lenbrook’s Board of Directors since 2011, Kill brings more than 35 years of experience as an architect, operational manager and senior team leader to his new position of Board Chairman. Kill played a key role in Lenbrook’s 2006 major expansion as the lead architect while he was at THW Design, where he served as a Partner and Project Manager for 17 years. Shortly thereafter, Kill accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of Cooper Carry, a national architectural and design firm with offices in Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and New York. He is responsible for the operational aspects of Cooper Carry including quality management, project standards, human resources, information technology, accounting and risk management.

Kill has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), accredited in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), a Certified Aging Services Professional (CASP), and a Certified Managerial Coach (CMC).

  New to Lenbrook’s Board, Shari Lotz is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Equifax’s US Information Solutions Business Unit headquartered in Atlanta. She brings over 25 years of experience in organizational development, talent management and strategic human resources to the Board having served as Human Resources Group Director for Coca-Cola Company and in human resources leadership roles with The Mead Corporation, Levi Strauss & Company and National Linen Service.

Lotz has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Personnel and Employment Relations from Georgia State University. She is a Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR). Lotz is also a past Board of Director and current member of the Society of Human Resource Management Atlanta Chapter as well as a member of the Atlanta HR Leadership Forum.
