I have lived at Lenbrook for a year and three months and am delighted that I made the decision to come here for my final residence. I was seeking continuing care from active independent living to health care as needed. All is available at Lenbrook. My apartment home is lovely and the spectacular view of Atlanta parallels the best in the city. Most importantly, the people here are wonderful. The associates in every department are talented, highly qualified, and always friendly and kind. The residents make every effort to welcome you and include you in all of the many available activities from symphony concerts to croquet. Finally, the food and food service are excellent from fine dining to casual terrace dinners, lunches, brunches, and happy hours. Lenbrook’s location in the heart of Buckhead is ideal. Excellent shopping, restaurants, and entertainment are available within a one mile radius. Lenbrook is a great and very fun place to live. I highly recommend it.

When I was 70 or even 75 years old, it never occurred to me that I would ever live anywhere but the home my husband and I bought in 1963.It was beautiful and we happily raised our four children and lived there for forty years. Then our late 70's came and with that unexpected medical problems that we never expected happen to two very active and healthy people like my husband and me .Times were about to change. MY husbands illness became .worse and I was diagnosed with a serious condition that was unpredictable. We talked the situation over with our children and grandchildren. and we decided Lenbrook was the answer.
w W e bought an apartment here. Lenbrook started renovating it to our specifications and we were scheduled to move in in February of 2012 un fortunately , my husband died Janurary 23 of 2012. Brokenhearted, I moved in May 3rd of that year. and my new life began. At first I just wanted to close my door and drop out. But that could not last long here. I knew three people here, one couple and another lady. They welcomed my with open arms, introduced me to their friends and the residents on my floor soon became my friends. I can truthfully say Lenbrook residents are the lovliest and most caring people you will ever find. I feel we are more than a community. We are a family and people who were strangers one day ago will be dear friends very soon. There are so many activities and lectures here I have been a very happy resident at Lenbrook now for 13 years. I celebrated my 91st birthday on August 10 of this year. I can truly say I have never been bored for a moment here and I am a grateful resident of Lenbrook. Living here has enriched my life in so many ways!!

In addition to the driver, there is a staff member from Enrichment. ( I asked her if she were the hostess, and she readily said, “ Have a bottle of cold water!). As we get off the bus, they have the grocery carts lined up for us. When we come back with our groceries, they place the groceries in the back of the bus with no exertion from us. When we arrive home, before they open the bus door, they unload the groceries and have them parceled out. They had my two bags in a single cart. I observed no missing or misplaced bags.
