Every effort is expended to assure that residents are safe and engaged.The bus to the grocery store is a great example.The driver has the bus wellheated by the time we board. In addition to the driver, there is a staff member from Enrichment. ( I asked her if she were the hostess, and she readily said, “ Have a bottle of cold water!). As we get off the bus, they have the grocery carts lined up for us. When we come back with our groceries, they place the groceries in the back of the bus with no exertion from us. When we arrive home, before they open the bus door, they unload the groceries and have them parceled out. They had my two bags in a single cart. I observed no missing or misplaced bags. Since becoming a widow, moving to Lenbrook (though reluctantly at first) is the very best thing I’ve done for myself!
At the time I had no clue how wonderfully life-changing this move would be for me!
The thought of moving, however, sent my stress- level skyrocketing, but at that time I’d never heard about moving managers. Blue Skies came to my rescue and took over making the move a breeze.
During the first weeks I had visits from associates in the various departments who explained all the available services and ways they can help. What a relief that was and continues to be.
I could write more about the beautifully decorated living room areas, the delicious varieties of, food in our five dining venues, the entertaining programs held in the Event Center, the fitness classes held daily, the friends you will meet and the stress-free lifestyle you will love, but the best advice I can give is to check out Lenbrook online and then come visit it for yourself! Words just don’t do justice to this amazing place where I have chosen to spend my senior years.

The residents are very welcoming and come from a lot of interesting backgrounds that you can learn from.
Lenbrook continues to reinvest in the facilities as evidenced by a completion of the main entrance common areas.
Continue to get top rankings from Third Party Rating agencies whether they are Credit Rating Agencies, Medicare rating of health facilities, CCRC Accreditation organization.
Three different dining venues that provide high quality foot and a range of choices and frequent menu updates and changes.
Broad range of program and activities and the community always seems energetic.

Every week we meet new, intelligent, fun-loving residents. We use our flex funds for not only eating in the three restaurants (the food is exceptionally good), but also, love the catering option available for catering meals for our extended family, book club events, and luncheons. Everyday when I return to Lenbrook and drive pass the Security Gate, I say a prayer of gratitude to the Lenbrook Staff for providing a place I love to come home to.

We enjoy fitness classes, local excursions, concerts, speakers, classes on different topics , movies, games of all types, including bridge and hobby groups. We even have a croquet court and a competitive team. Holidays are often celebrated with entertainment and food. And the residents are very friendly and interesting. I'm so glad I moved while I could participate in and enjoy the many opportunities here.

There are many activities and other Lenbrook residents who share their knowledge about a wide range of subjects - a variety of card games to woodworking, to discussion of the news, to dance, art lessons and shows.
The food is excellent and knowing that I do not have to cook every night (as much as I enjoy cooking) leaves me more time for other projects.
My husband Warren and I have two dogs - an English Cream Golden Retriever and a Twoodle (two parts poodle). With ball throwing and walks, they do well at Lenbrook and love to greet our neighbors whenever they walk by.
Every day we meet happy faces of staff and residents. And every day there are options for new adventures.

I feel safe living here since Bill can’t drive anymore. He can engage in activities while I am out and interact with people. Many of my dear friends are now joining us here which is so uplifting. We are excited to get involved in our new croquet activity when the weather is good to meet people, play a game and be outside. It is truly a new amenity for us to enjoy.
