Dr. Richard Colvin’s Pride in Emory Continues

Dr. Richard (Dick) Colvin, a preeminent radiologist, emeritus professor at Emory and resident of Lenbrook, is now retired. But Dick’s love and support for Emory very certainly continues on.

With three degrees from Emory, 30 years on the faculty in the Emory School of Medicine, and 13 years as the director of the radiology department, Dick Colvin recently endowed the “Richard Colvin Radiology Residency Education Fund.” This endowment will help support research, education and medical residents in radiology.

“It was my goal to train competent radiologists who were also patient oriented physicians,” Dick says. “This is one way I can continue to help support that goal.”

Emory recently featured Dick in its Autumn alumni magazine titled “Emory Magazine.”
