Lenbrook Gets High-Altitude Shout-Out

Lenbrook, a Buckhead retirement community, recently hosted a virtual town hall meeting where its residents and their families found a unique way to thank its staff for keeping it safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, where no residents but one employee contracted the virus. At the meeting, Lenbrook leaders showed photos of a sign from residents thanking its staff and attached to a scientific research balloon launched by NASA in California’s Eastern Sierra Mountains. It was photographed at an altitude of 112,000 feet (21 miles) straight up.
