Lenbrook Tours Capitol, Meets Governor Deal

A group of residents from Lenbrook recently enjoyed a special visit to the State Capitol where they had the opportunity to meet Governor Nathan Deal, Senator Hunter Hill (Senate District 6) and Representative Beth Beskin (House District #54).

Lenbrook residents and longtime government and regulatory affairs consultants Joyce C. and John P. Stevens Sr. arranged the Capitol tour. “We were delighted to give our fellow residents an opportunity to see our State government at work,” said Joyce Stevens, noting the group also visited the Senate gallery to observe Senate procedures and toured the museum section of the Capitol.

Joyce and John have dedicated years of public service to a variety of corporate, governmental and philanthropic entities over the past 50+ years, including serving as founding officers of the Boys & Girls Club of Walton County. They formed The Stevens Group, a lobbying and consulting group, in 1995, upon retiring from the corporate sector. The Stevens continue to operate the company from their residence at Lenbrook.
