“Spice Goddess” Chef Bal Arneson Shares Recipe for Better Cooking, Better Health


                 Lenbrook residents recently learned how to add a new flair and and healthy benefits to their cooking from the “Spice Goddess,” the Cooking Channel’s renown Chef Bal Arneson. Chef Bal captivated her audience with her love of cooking, unique spice blends and Indian cuisine.

               Meanwhile, Lenbrook residents Ursula Teeuw and Bill Marsh teamed up with Lenbrook’s Executive Chef Rhoads Fern to prepare one of Chef Bal’s favorites for the audience to enjoy: shrimp with spiced coconut sauce and brown basmati rice with edamame beans.

                Lenbrook hosted Chef Bal Arneson as a part of Morrison Community Living’s Celebrity Chef series, which supports Lenbrook’s focus on bringing interactive, engaging and healthy food experiences to its residents. Morrison is Lenbrook’s culinary service provider.
