You’re Invited to pARTicipate in the ART of Life!
We invite you to come and enjoy our first-ever collaborative performance at The Woodruff Arts Center on September 10, at 3 PM, in the Rich Theatre. It’s called Participate in the ART of Life.
The Performance
Our Lenbrook participants, under the guidance of Rosemary Newcott, the Alliance Theatre’s Artistic Director of Theatre for Youth & Families, will join together with members of the community to create an intergenerational, interpretive performance showing how we are all connected, and are all a part of the bigger picture of life.
You’ll experience this unique, interactive performance set to the hit song “Lean on Me” and featuring Johnny Hibbert and the Atlanta Street Singers; one of the Southeast’s finest tenors Sam Hagan; the Lenbrook Singers; the Academy Ballroom Atlanta; and dancers, musicians and visual artists from the Decatur Family YMCA and the Lenbrook and Park Springs communities.
The Woodfruff’s FREE Family Fun Festival Day
It’s FREE and a part of The Woodruff’s Family Fun Festival, from 1 to 4 PM on September 10, which is also National Grandparents Day.
