U.S. Military Veterans at Lenbrook Continue to Serve and Support

Veterans Day, the official United States public holiday, is observed annually on November 11, and honors all military veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces.

More than 125 resident veterans currently call Lenbrook home. They have served in many different functions in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard, during times of war dating back to World War II, and during times of peace.

We also count a number of younger military veterans among Lenbrook’s Associates who continue to serve and support all who live and work at Lenbrook. They are:

  • Jack Best, Security
  • Harriet Mitchell, Dining Services
  • David Rast, Human Resources
  • Stephen West, Dining Services
  • Ennis White, Security

Even though this year our annual Veterans Day observation on November 11 will be hosted in a somewhat different format from earlier years because of COVID-19, the Lenbrook Management Team and I know it is important that we recognize the men and women who have served to protect and defend the United States of America, and their families who also sacrificed for our freedom.

All of us at Lenbrook thank each Veteran for defending our freedom.

There are not words big enough.

There are not hugs strong enough.

There are not smiles wide enough.

All we can offer is, THANK YOU!

You are our hero.

You are in our thoughts.

You are in our prayers.

For all you’ve done, THANK YOU!*
