Gary Fridman Puts Technology to Work Enriching Daily Life at Lenbrook
The latest gizmos and gadgets are exciting, but Gary Fridman knows the true value of technology comes with connecting a community. As Director, Information Technology/Audio Visual, Gary takes a people-first approach to every project he touches, making life more connected, secure, and enjoyable for Lenbrook Residents and Associates.
His work is evident all across the Lenbrook campus, from Wi-Fi enhancements that increase stability and improve cybersecurity controls to a newly upgraded technology infrastructure. Gary led the Lenbrook Event Center technology upgrades project, which included enhanced sound and video equipment to ensure every performance and speaker presentation provides guests the very best experience.
But Gary’s impact goes beyond infrastructure. He leads a team of equally dedicated professionals – Eric Duke, Events Production Manager, and IT/AV Technician Contrell Brown. Together, they are the friendly faces who respond to the technology needs of residents and associates. Contrell’s in-home tech support and troubleshooting, for instance, turns potential frustrations into confidence and independence.

“My team’s primary role is helping Lenbrook Residents feel assured and connected to information in the community,” Gary says. “Technology should enhance an experience, not complicate it.”
Gary takes it all a step further to ensure resident’s safety and security by strengthening Lenbrook’s digital security systems and introducing tech solutions that support safer, smarter living. His popular “Tech Talks” have covered essential topics of cybersecurity like spotting phishing attempts, protecting against malware, and safeguarding passwords.
Prior to joining the Lenbrook team, Gary was a member of the original Geek Squad at Best Buy, which is where he was first exposed to the technology gap in Life Plan Communities. He has now worked in the senior living industry for over 15 years.
“I want to make technology accessible for everyone, empowering them to live life to the fullest,” Gary says. “If I can use technology to make someone’s day better, I feel like I’ve done my job.”
