Dave Fitzgerald is the Founder of Atlanta-based advertising agency Fitzgerald & Co. and served as CEO for more than 40 years. He sold the $100 million company, now known as Fitzco, in 2025 and co-founded Sage Communications Advisors, which helps Atlanta nonprofit organizations find their voice and tell their story.
He is a trusted communications leader who provides strategic guidance to a wide range of clients and executives. Throughout his distinguished career, Dave has been honored with numerous awards. These include a lifetime achievement award from the Atlanta Ad Club, “Best Agency Marketing Person and Director” / “Best New Business Person” / “Most Admired CEO” by Atlanta Business Chronicle, Southeast Advertising Agency of the Year by Adweek Magazine, and Small Agency of the Year by Advertising Agency.
He has served and led many boards of directors for communications, education, hospitals, and nonprofits. Currently, he serves on the boards of Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School, St. Joseph’s Health System, the Buckhead Coalition, and Cristo Rey Network in Chicago.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
