I am honored to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors for Lenbrook. It is a true pleasure to work closely with Lenbrook’s outstanding Board and management team as we successfully navigate unprecedented challenges of operations, expansion and good health during the pandemic.

During the first week of October, Lenbrook celebrated the grand opening of its brand-new regulation-sized artificial turf Croquet Lawn, part of the Kingsboro at Lenbrook expansion. Lenbrook hosted free Resident Clinics as well as private lessons, and on October 5th, Golf Croquet teaching professionals from the United States Croquet Association (USCA) played an Exhibition Match.

On October 24, LeadingAge, the national association of nonprofit providers of aging services, unveiled Joyful Hearts, a public photo exhibit in Centennial Park to celebrate the compassion, dedication, and warmth of professional caregivers at three Atlanta senior living communities, including Lenbrook.

Recently, Lenbrook resident and Chair of the Lenbrook Library Committee Bernard Goldstein received a glowing letter from Medeana Hinson, Director of Library Services for the Georgia Department of Corrections, thanking him, the Lenbrook Library Committee, and other Lenbrook residents for realizing a donation of more than 800 books to prison libraries all over Georgia.

Who says senior living can’t be innovative and cutting-edge?  Lenbrook and Morrison Living, its culinary service provider, embrace the future with the introduction of “Lenny” the Robot.  This high-tech robot is part of the restaurant staff at Lenbrook to assist in supporting servers during mealtimes.
